প্রাপ্ত শিক্ষা ত্যাজ্য

কোনো না কোনো ভাবে এই সমাজ থেকেই শিখেছি। ভুল শিখেছি। আমি এই সমাজ থেকেই শিখেছিঃ

১। মেয়েরা মিনমিন করে কথা বলে। সেভাবে কথা বলা ছেলেদের মানায় না। নম্রতা থেকে শুরু করে দাসত্ব পর্যন্ত সকল নরম স্বভাবের আদর্শ প্রতিফলক মেয়েরা।

২। “তুমি মেয়েদের মত করে কথা বলো” ধরণের মন্তব্যের মাধ্যমে একটা সমগ্র লিঙ্গকে পরোক্ষভাবে নিচে নামানোর বিরুদ্ধে জবাব হিসেবে

Aesop Rethought#1

Prelude: Fables of Aesop have always been few of the frequently used instances when it came to exemplifying a ground of morality via a fiction/tales. Being one of those people who constantly question the traditional flow, I decided to ruminate on the other probable twist that might have taken place. That led me to write a series titled "Aesop Rethought". This is the very first story I have 'thought' of writing which originally is about a crow portraying the moral - "There's a will there's a way".

ছোট মুখটা বন্ধ

জন্ম থেকেই ছোট আমি। বয়স কত হলো?
বাস্তবতা আঠারো বলে, সনদ বলে ষোল!

হয়ত মানুষ হবার আশায়, হয়েছিলাম ছাত্র
তখন থেকেই বড় হওয়ার সীমানা শরীর-মাত্র।

ছোট থেকেই শুনছি এসব শিক্ষা পাওয়ার কথা,
শিক্ষা ছাড়া উন্নতি টা ঠুনকো রসিকতা !

ভালোবাসায় বৈশাখী

আজকে আমি একটা গল্প বলব। একটা ভালোবাসার গল্প। পুরোটাই কাল্পনিক। তবে কল্পনা টা যদি বাস্তবতা কে ঘিরে ধরে, দয়া করে আমাকে ছেড়ে দেবেন। তো, শুরু করি গল্পটা।
ছেলেটা অনেক ভালোবাসতো তাকে। কাকে, জানেন? নাহ, জানেন না। জানবেন কীভাবে! 

বললাম ই না তো!
ধরে নেই, মেয়েটার নাম বৈশাখী। আর ছেলেটার নাম, মুগ্ধ। 

মুগ্ধ ছেলেটা কে অশান্ত করে তুলতো এই বৈশাখীর প্রতি ভালবাসা। মুগ্ধ সেই অশান্ত মাথাতেই ভাবত, বৈশাখী ও তাকে অনেক ভালবাসে। আর ওদিকে, মেয়েটা যেন নিজের নাম কে-ই নিজের বিশ্লেষিতরূপ হিসেবে বৈধ করার চেষ্টায় মত্ত ছিল।

কী বলে সম্বোধন করব, এখন সেটা নিয়েও দ্বিধায় ভুগি। এক কালে তো আমার মালিকই তুমি ছিলে। যেহেতু এখন তুমি সাবেক হওয়ার পথে, তাই আমিও তোমায় শ্রদ্ধেয় থেকে সুপ্রিয়তেই নামিয়ে দিলাম বলা যায়। অপ্রিয় হতেও বেশি বেগ পেতে হবেনা আশা করি।
যেহেতু চলে যাচ্ছি, তাই ভাবলাম একটা চিঠি লিখেই যাই। কী ভেবেছিলে? আমি লিখতে জানিনা? অবশ্য সবাই সেটাই ভাবে।
